AQM significantly extends its laboratory services collaborating with three companies, which are specifically organized and complementary to AQM, in order to manage directly all the analysis, testing and diagnostic requests of customers and partners, even in particular productive sectors (aerospace, automotive, competitions, etc.) and for environmental analysis (releases, dumps, waste, etc).

AQM has been working for 26 years in the field of laboratory testing for metallurgical and mechanical sectors (chemical analysis, mechanical testing, metallography, diagnostic and prevention, electronic microscopy, corrosion tests, non-destructive checking, product tests, calibrations, dimensional checking, rapid prototyping, etc.) to verify product conformity and performances and has preferred not to invest in instruments and tools already present in other partners' laboratories, with the purpose of maximizing the synergy and the saturation of the existing resources and canalizing the available investments in other innovative and Excellency sectors.

Pursuing this goal, AQM has defined collaboration agreements with their partners Lucchini Sidermeccanica and CF Gomma and together they have achieved some substantial and strategic synergies.

 

In particular it was about making good use of CF Gomma's internal laboratory, equipped with high technical competences and various oleo dynamic testing machines, vibration mono/triaxial test benches and other specific and generic electric, electronic, pneumatic, electro pneumatic equipments, dedicated to the characterization and qualification of metal and rubber-metal products and materials (axial endurance tests, vibration tests, combined mechanic/climatic stress tests).

The same approach has been developed with Lucchini Sidermeccanica's laboratory, equipped with adequate and high technical competences specific for the metallurgic sector and synergic to those of AQM, with several static and dynamic testing machines for the characterization of metallic materials and in particular to carry out fracture Mechanic tests (KIC, CTOD, etc.) and rotating fatigue tests.

 

In the last decade AQM has also reinforced its competences in applied researches, in training and in technical and organizational counseling, and also as counseling Organization for the operational management of environment, hygiene and Industrial Safety (implementation of management systems, legislative inspections, authorization management for the release in the atmosphere of polluting substances, water drainage, waste disposal, acoustic impact, IPPC, etc.).

 

Also in this case it made use of the competences and equipment of its partner CRC-Centro Ricerche Chimiche, which since 1980 has been a support for companies in the environmental field for the monitoring of the production process and as the essence of its activity has a chemical-biological laboratory UNI EN ISO 9001 certified and UNI EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited by SINAL , together with an outer technical sector dealing in sampling various environmental materials (natural and waste waters, waste, waste oils, grounds, air and emissions in atmosphere) and in reclaiming management, work environment, smell surveying and noise measuring.

 

Thanks to these collaborations AQM is able to respond to all monitoring exigencies that companies may have and therefore put itself up as a qualified and complete partner for all Italian engineering industries.
